    Pros +

    • Great staff and very clean
    • The room on 22 floor was big, spacious and with the nice view on the city. The hotel is nearby restaurants area and nice park.
    • The superior room for husband and I was comfortable but I do think, overall the hotel could do with a bit of an upgrade as it is showing its age a little.

    Cons -

    • Room only had heating function, no cooling. Room was hot when we arrived and there was no way to cool it down after that (windows are fixed shut). Front desk brought us a small fan which helped a little but it was still too hot. Toilet room felt old.
    • Unfortunately, this was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I have experienced. From the first day (31 December), the hotel restaurants were effectively inaccessible. We were repeatedly told we could eat there, then told we needed a reservation, and finally told it was not possible at all. This happened multiple times, both on arrival and during the following days (1–2 January). With temperatures between –8 and –13°C, and most restaurants in the city requiring reservations due to holidays, this left us with no real dining options. For three days, we ended up eating convenience-store food in our room.On departure day, after check-out, we waited in the lobby for our taxi to the airport (we had three connecting flights that day). I asked if I could take a snack or coffee from the bar and pay for it, but was told “no” because I was “no longer a guest.” When I asked about the hotel restaurants (24th/25th floor), staff appeared confused, consulted each other repeatedly, and ultimately refused access—first saying reservations were needed, then saying the restaurants were closed, despite it being daytime.Another disappointing detail: housekeeping never proactively replenished coffee. When I politely asked reception for two additional coffee pods, I was charged 200 yen—on 2 January, during a multi-night stay. In other hotels, this level of basic hospitality is standard.Overall, the issue was not rules, but lack of hospitality, clarity, and flexibility. Staff interactions consistently made us feel unwelcome rather than assisted. This is not what one expects from a hotel of this category.I would not stay here again.
    • I booked a standard twin room for my daughters and it was tiny with no space to move around once their luggages were in. The airconditioning didnt work in their room and they had to rent a fan (and this is winter). In fact, we had to get them upgraded to the superior room eventually which meant them sleeping on a queen size bed (rather than twin) with a bit more space and a working airconditioning unit.

The family room is very spacious, location is near station and convenient stores. The lobby is very nice and there is free drinks at the bar for hotel guests

There is no coin laundry like most Japanese hotels, the carpet and bathroom is a bit old

Staffs were friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fire, so many dessert and food choices to choose from, outstanding service! Our room view was magnificent. Near to the train station and restaurants.

    No!

Amazinggggggg Breakfast! Stunning views overlooking snow covered Nakajima park! Great location. Has a cool lounge area with a free drink bar!

Rooms feel a bit outdated. The Air Conditioning is central and can’t be adjusted so sometimes can get uncomfortable. The rooms don’t come with a Air-Purifier or Humidifier, but you will be provided with a old-school machine when requested for one

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful with all my questions. Loved the complimentary beverages as well as the spacious room. The view of Nakajima park was beautiful, and the location was really close to the subway, or you could just walk to Susukino, Odori park, and more! A really great start to my trip.

    Nothing, no complaints

The hotel staffs were very helpful when we were going to send a package to Osaka. Great location as well and nice environment, very near to Nakajima Park

    10KarenPosted on: 11-15-2025

This isna wonderful hotel in a perfect location right next to Nakajima Park. Subway entrance is a short 6 minute walk away. The hotel room was spacious and exceptionally clean with an an awesome view of the city and mountains. The beds were comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious.

Th room was a bit warm at times and the temperature was not adjustable.

    9Megan K.Posted on: 11-12-2025

The hotel room was very spacious and convenient location. Our hotel room overlooked Nakajima Park.

Definitely need to use Google translate when conversing with most of the staff, but they were extremely patient and kind.

Very central location, nice and helpful staff. Clean hotel.

Room was a bit smaller than expected, could not properly have a suitcase open. The room was either too hot or too cold, it would have been nice if a window could be opened.

    8MarcoPosted on: 10-7-2025

Convenient location close to the Subway, friendly staff, good beds

    9HYu2320Posted on: 9-14-2025

The hotel is at a higher end with excellent services. Breakfast has many options plus a freshly made plate for each person. The room is spacious and very clean and comfortable.

Its location is a bit out of way to shoppoing place and restanrants, it's about 15 minutes walk. But it's accessible by train station.

    8UmutPosted on: 8-16-2025

The location is really good - the nakajima park is lovely to stroll and if you are a walker you can be at the center in around 20 minutes.

    10allaPosted on: 8-4-2025

Very good location just above Nakajima Park, close to Subway station. Good breakfast with Japanese and Western cuisine. comfortable bed.

    10Susie M.Posted on: 7-28-2025

We love the location it’s so close to the station, we’ve got the family room with 2 rooms and 4 double beds, they would clean our room everyday, replenish our supplies and even gave us new slippers everyday. The neighborhood is quiet and we love walking to the park and just looking at the streams of water and hydrangeas since we went in summer. The staff are very attentive, free coffee and juice bar too at the cafeteria.

    9AllyssaPosted on: 7-20-2025

My family loved the location close to the park with walking trails and bird viewing. If you are looking for nature within the city, this is a great location. Only a 10 min walk to main city with shopping/restaurants. We booked the family room which was spacious for a family of 4. Breakfast was one of the best we have experienced in Japan with lots of fresh options, don’t miss out if you like hearty breakfasts.

The bathrooms are a bit dated but still clean and properly maintained.

    8PPosted on: 5-3-2025

Breakfast was excellent! A decent variety and from different worlds. The complimentary afternoon drinks were great (just a few nuts / chips would have added the small missing flavour).

    It was all good.

    9GilPosted on: 4-30-2025

Breakfast was great! Very good value. Stuff was efficient and polite.

Parking costs extra 1500 yen. Room was a bit dated.
